Fill in “Full Name”, “Date of Birth”, “Gender” and “Time zone”, then select “Sign Up”. If you're 18 or older, you verify your own phone number. If you're under 14, you verify a parent's phone number.
Your name is required. If it's empty, you see “Enter your name”. Pick your date of birth from the calendar.
The time zone is usually preset to this device's time zone. Lesson and due times show in this time zone.
Enter your number in “Phone Number” and select “Submit”. Enter the 6-digit code from the text message, then select “Submit” again.
In “Parent's Phone Number”, enter the number your parent signed up with and verify it the same way. “Sign Up” turns on once it's verified.
You see “You're signed up”, then go to the home screen.
Students aged 14 to 17 sign up without phone verification.
If your parent hasn't signed up yet, select “My parent hasn't signed up yet · Contact support”. KakaoTalk support opens in a new window.
If you see “We couldn't sign you up. Please try again shortly”, try again in a moment. If you see “This phone number is already registered”, sign in with the account you made with that number.
